PROBLEM STATEMENT
The users need more information about Amtrak services so that they can book a travel experience they know they will enjoy.
HOW MIGHT WE STATEMENTS
How might we convince travelers that using Amtrak is more than just a mode of transportation—but an experience?
How might we educate travelers that Amtrak has full amenities such as private rooms, food, wifi, and comfortable seating?
User have pre-notions about Amtraks services, cleanliness, crowdedness, and reliability.
We launched Amtrak Wanderlust as a new sub-brand, to reframe peoples expectation and see Amtrak service as a high value experience.
Design Process
4 Days | 19 Questions | 11 Users
During the ideation phase of the project, we conducted user interviews to build new personas and to inform the design. Together with the team, we prepared an interview script with 19 open-ended questions, focusing on our target audiences’ values, motivations, and daily routines. In 4 days, we recruited and interviewed 11 users remotely.
